The Goddess of Justice looks directly into your eyes. From her descends a light that illuminates everything. In front of her is the scale, balancing the positive and the negative, the masculine and the feminine. Above her appear the Sun and the Moon… and behind her, the spirit of the eagle watches from the sky.

Welcome to the week of Justice.

A week that invites us on a journey to clean our vision and find clarity.

And the first question she asks us is:

Are you really seeing the truth of what is happening in your life?

What is actually happening.

Seeing the Truth of What Is Happening

Many times we enter situations of confusion and stagnation not because there are no solutions, but because we do not want to see the real problem.

We cover it up, justify it, avoid it. We distort the vision we have of ourselves, of the world or of others so that we do not have to step into the mud and recognize what is really happening.

This happens a lot in relationships.

You have probably heard someone say:

“I have just realized that I don’t know who my partner is.”

Or:

“I didn’t know who my partner really was.”

But many times the signs had been there for a very long time.

We simply justify all of them because we want to maintain a certain perception of that person, because we want to believe they are the ideal person, because we do not want to argue, because we do not want to face the problem, or because recognizing the truth would force us to do something about it.

And many times confusion appears precisely because of this.

Because we deny the truth.

Because we do not want to look at it and deal with what is really happening.

So the first call of Justice is very simple:

Look. Look at what is there. Look at what is really happening in your life.

Responsibility

And from there comes the second great teaching of Justice:

Responsibility.

There is a beautiful line from A Course in Miracles that says:

“Every thought produces form at some level.”

I love it because it reminds us of something we constantly forget.

What we think, what we feel, what we say, what we do… and also what we do not do… creates consequences.

All of it is an expression.

It is like a song, a melody that we are constantly playing in the world.

And then that music brings things.

It brings people, situations, experiences, opportunities, conflicts.

And many times, when something happens, we say:

“Bad luck.”

“What a coincidence.”

“It was an accident.”

But Justice takes us directly to cause and effect.

What comes into our life is connected to the music we are playing.

Always.

What we think, what we do, what we tolerate, what we avoid, what we repeat, what we choose and what we leave unchosen sets causes in motion.

And those causes produce effects.

So the next question Justice asks is:

Are you understanding that what happens in your life is connected to the way you live?

What Is the Real Cause?

And here comes another important part.

It is not enough to know that cause and effect exist.

We have to understand what the real cause actually is.

Because very often we get that completely wrong.

Imagine you have a car and you want to avoid accidents or prevent it from breaking down.

So you spend your time cleaning the seats, vacuuming the floor, cleaning the dashboard and making it look beautiful.

And you think: now it’s fine.

But if you want the car to work properly, you need to look at the engine, the oil, the tyres, the brakes…

There are other rules governing the car.

And we do exactly the same thing with our lives.

We want to feel full of vitality, joy and motivation… but we do not see the connection between how we feel and the fact that we have spent years postponing our dreams or what we truly want to do.

We want a different relationship… but we keep acting from the same patterns.

We want something to change… but we keep feeding exactly the same causes.

Cause and effect.

So the question becomes a little deeper:

What is the real cause of what you are experiencing right now?

The Eagle’s Perspective

This is also where the spirit of the eagle comes in.

The ability to rise a little higher and look at our life with perspective.

To see the connections.

To see how one decision led to another. How a way of living created a certain consequence. How what we are doing today is building what we will experience tomorrow.

Decision

And finally we come to the last call of Justice.

Decision.

Because if you can see the truth, if you can recognize your responsibility and if you can understand the connections of cause and effect that brought you here… then you can truly choose differently.

If you have several paths in front of you, Justice invites you to place them on the scale.

Look at what is really there.

Look at how you arrived here.

Look at what cause you are setting in motion with each option.

And then decide.

Because if we want real change, we have to introduce a different cause.

We cannot keep doing the same thing again and again and expect our life to transform.

We have to change something in the music we are playing.

Four Questions for the Week of Justice

So this week Justice leaves us with four questions:

Are you seeing the truth of what is happening in your life?

Are you realizing that what is happening is connected to the way you live?

Do you understand the cause-and-effect connections that have brought you here?

And now that you can see it all… what do you decide? How can you choose in a way that brings real change instead of repeating the same thing again and again?

This week is about working with our vision.

Cleaning it.

Bringing truth and clarity.

And above all, understanding our life in connection with the way we are living it.

That is probably one of the most important connections we can make.

I wish you a beautiful week, that clarity comes to you, and that you have the courage to look at it the way the Goddess looks.

With all the light and all the will in the world.

Happy Week of Justice!!

Tarot Card of the Week: Death https://innersparklife.com/tarot-card-of-the-week-death/ Tue, 04 Aug 2026 11:13:54 +0000 https://innersparklife.com/tarot-card-of-the-week-death/ This week, the card that has come to us is Death…

In the image, we see a skeletal figure holding a scythe, standing in what looks like an old cemetery or a place in ruins. Around it, we can see the remains of the past… a broken sword, a broken crown, a broken clock. Everything that once had a form, an identity, a purpose or a certain power has reached its end.

And this is what the card represents… the complete ending of something in our life that we were identified with.

In existence, things are constantly appearing and disappearing. Parts of us are born, they grow, they transform and eventually they fade away. But what really creates the experience of death is not simply that something disappears… it is that something we were identified with disappears. Something we believed was part of us, something that helped us understand who we were.

When I picked up this card, what I felt in this space, in this field that we all create together, is that some processes of death are already happening. Some things are already beginning to disappear, to fade away or to reach their conclusion… and I feel that this is why the card has come to us today.

1. Death Is Inevitable

The first thing to understand is that death is inevitable.

This experience can happen internally or externally, but of course, we usually notice it much more when it happens outside of us. A relationship ends, a friendship breaks, a job disappears, a chapter closes, something material is lost… or perhaps an identity that we have carried for years can no longer continue.

When something like this happens, many times we blame ourselves or we blame someone else. We think that something went wrong, that somebody made a mistake or that things should have happened differently.

And of course, sometimes a situation can be repaired. We can apologise, change our behaviour, talk to each other or find a solution. But when something has truly reached the moment when it needs to end… it ends. When something really needs to leave, it leaves.

Not necessarily because somebody failed, and not necessarily because you did something wrong… but because its cycle is complete.

Death is existential. It is everywhere in creation. Everything is born, everything changes and everything eventually disappears or transforms into something else.

And it also has a purpose.

Even when we cannot see that purpose, even when we do not understand why something is happening, and even when it feels painful, unfair or completely confusing… there is still a purpose behind it. Maybe an important purpose, maybe a higher purpose, maybe something that we will only understand much later.

So this is the first invitation of the card… to look at what is ending and contemplate whether you can see it as something inevitable, as part of existence, and as something that may have a purpose even if you cannot see it yet.

2. Something Ends So That Something New Can Begin

The second thing is that Death always comes to close something so that something new can open.

And this is something that can really help us when we are moving through a process of loss… remembering that something new is coming. Maybe we cannot see it yet, maybe we cannot imagine it, maybe we are still too focused on what is leaving… but something new is coming.

And it is even possible that this new thing is something that we ourselves have asked for.

Many times, we ask for a new life, a new love, a new connection, a new awakening, a new direction or a new version of ourselves. We ask for change… but we do not always understand what change really requires.

Because for something new to enter, something old normally has to leave. There has to be space… living space, emotional space, energetic space, existential space.

Maybe what is leaving your life right now is creating exactly the space needed for what you have been asking for.

Sometimes we ask for a new dawn, but we resist the night that comes before it.

So when you are moving through one of these processes, try to place part of your attention on what could come next. Not to escape the pain, and not to force yourself to be positive… but simply to remember that this ending is not the whole story.

What could come after this? What new life is trying to open in front of me? What different, exciting, expansive or unexpected experience could be on its way? What am I making space for?

Death does not only announce an ending… it also prepares the ground for a new birth.

This also connects very deeply with the journey we have just experienced in Tibet…

In the Tibetan tradition, there is a word for this space between an ending and a new beginning. That word is bardo.

A bardo is an intermediate state… a passage, a space of transition between one form of existence and another. The best-known bardo is the passage between death and rebirth, and it gives its name to one of the most famous texts of Tibetan Buddhism, the Bardo Thödol, commonly known in the West as The Tibetan Book of the Dead.

The teachings of the bardos help us understand how to navigate these transitions with greater awareness and balance… so that we do not become completely lost or trapped in what has disappeared, and can gradually find our way towards the other shore, towards what comes next.

And although these teachings speak very directly about physical death and rebirth, I feel that the same wisdom can also be applied to the many smaller deaths we experience throughout life.

When a relationship ends, when an identity falls away, when a chapter closes or when something we depended on disappears… we also enter a kind of bardo.

The old life is no longer there, but the new one has not fully appeared yet.

And perhaps this is one of the most difficult parts of any transformation… learning how to remain inside that uncertainty without trying to return immediately to the past, and without forcing the future to arrive before it is ready.

Our recent journey through Tibet reminded me how important these spaces of transition are in spiritual traditions. Transformation is not only about allowing something to die, and it is not only about celebrating what will be born next…

It is also about learning how to cross the space in between.

3. Make Space for the Pain and Confusion

The third thing is that many parts of our being resist death.

Because of our conditioning, because of karmic reasons and because of the way we have learned to survive and hold on to things, there are parts of us that do not understand this reality. Parts that cannot relax, cannot trust and cannot simply allow things to happen.

Because of this, even when the process is necessary, even when it has a purpose and even when it is preparing something new… it can still hurt a lot. It can bring confusion, fear, anger, sadness and a lot of emotional intensity.

And all of this is normal too.

We need to make space for it. You do not need to feel good immediately, you do not need to understand everything, and you do not need to move on quickly. You do not need to transform the pain into wisdom on the first day.

Sometimes you simply need to feel it, breathe, observe and allow the process to happen.

The emotions that appear do not necessarily mean that something is wrong. They may simply be part of the natural process of letting go.

And this card speaks very strongly about this… allowing, surrendering, accepting and observing everything that is happening inside of us and around us while the transformation takes place.

So this week, I invite you to observe whether there is something dying in your life. Maybe a relationship, a friendship, a chapter, a belief, an identity, an expectation, a habit or an old way of seeing yourself… something that no longer has the same life it once had.

And perhaps you can ask yourself… Is this inevitable? Is it possible that this is nobody’s fault? Is it possible that its cycle is simply complete? Is it possible that this ending has a purpose? Is it possible that it is creating space for something new?

And is it possible that everything I am feeling is simply part of the process… not a sign that something is wrong, but a sign that I am letting go?

If there is nothing clearly ending in your life right now, you can still work with this card. You can remember things that have already left your life, things that once felt impossible to lose and things that changed you… or you can contemplate the things you are afraid of losing.

Because sooner or later, everything changes. Everything transforms. Everything we hold on to will eventually take another form.

And when that happens, remember… there will be a purpose. There may be pain, confusion and a journey of great intensity, but at the end of that journey, you will find yourself standing at the gates of a new life.

Death can look like a frightening card, but in reality, it is one of the cards with the greatest potential in the whole deck. It takes us to the places where the deepest transformation can happen… where old identities can fall away, where new decisions can be made and where a completely new life can begin.

The chat is open for anything you feel called to share… and we are here to support each other through these processes.

May you have a beautiful week of death and rebirth ❤🔥

How to Enter a Creative State Before Making an Important Decision https://innersparklife.com/how-to-enter-a-creative-state-before-making-an-important-decision/ Tue, 16 Jun 2026 17:54:24 +0000 https://innersparklife.com/how-to-enter-a-creative-state-before-making-an-important-decision/ There are moments in life when we need to make a decision, but the answer does not come. We think, we analyze, we imagine different futures, and still something inside remains unclear. One option seems right for a moment, then another option appears. We ask friends, we make lists, we try to be reasonable, and yet the body still feels tense, the heart still feels heavy, and the mind keeps moving in circles.

When this happens, we often believe that the problem is that we have not thought enough. So we try to think more. We sit with the same question again and again. We look for the perfect reason, the perfect plan, the perfect guarantee. But sometimes more thinking does not bring more clarity. Sometimes it only makes the confusion louder.

This is because a decision is not made only by the mind. It is also made by the state we are in. If we are afraid, our mind will mostly see danger. If we feel trapped, our mind will mostly see walls. If we feel small, tired, or contracted, the future may look small too. Not because the future is truly small, but because we are looking at it from a closed place.

The central teaching is very simple: before we ask, "What should I choose?", we need to ask, "From what state am I choosing?" This question changes everything. It invites us to stop treating clarity as a mental problem and to begin seeing it as something connected to our whole being: body, emotion, energy, perception, and inner freedom.

The State We Choose From Matters

Every decision has an inner origin. Two people can make the same external choice, but from very different places inside. One person may leave a job because they are running away from fear. Another may leave because they feel a clear call toward a more honest life. One person may begin a relationship because they cannot be alone. Another may begin because love is truly opening in them. The action may look similar, but the inner movement is not the same.

This is why we need to become more sensitive to the state behind our decisions. A decision made from fear usually creates more fear. A decision made from shame often continues the same wound. A decision made only for comfort may make life easier for a while, but it may not bring real transformation. And a decision made from the creative center can open a new path that did not exist before.

In the webinar, this teaching is explained through three kinds of decisions. The first kind comes from pain. The second comes from comfort or pleasure. The third comes from the creative center. Understanding these three places can help us recognize what is really moving inside us when we are about to choose.

Decisions From Pain

A quiet moment before clarity

A decision from pain is a decision that tries to escape an unpleasant feeling. The feeling may be fear, shame, anger, guilt, loneliness, scarcity, or pressure. We may not say it clearly, but inside there is often a hidden sentence: "If I fix this thing outside, I will stop feeling this pain inside."

Sometimes action is necessary. If a situation is harmful, dishonest, or truly not right for us, we may need to leave, speak, change, or protect ourselves. This is important. The point is not to stay in places that hurt us. The point is to notice whether the decision is coming from clarity or from reaction.

When pain is the one choosing, we are often not moving toward freedom. We are only moving away from discomfort. We may leave one situation, but carry the same wound into the next one. We may change the outside form of life, but repeat the same emotional pattern. We may think we are choosing peace, but actually we are choosing from panic.

This is why pain-based decisions can feel urgent. They want an answer now. They want relief now. They do not want to wait, breathe, feel, or look deeper. They say, "Do something quickly, so this feeling stops." But if we obey that voice too fast, we may create another situation that carries the same pain in a different costume.

The invitation is not to reject pain. Pain is not bad. Pain can be a messenger. It can show us where something needs attention. But pain should not be the only part of us allowed to make the decision. We can listen to it, care for it, and still wait until a deeper place in us becomes available.

Decisions From Comfort

The second kind of decision comes from comfort or pleasure. These decisions are also not bad. They may help us rest, simplify life, enjoy more, feel safer, or create more ease. Many good things in life come from this level. We choose a better routine, a nicer home, a more peaceful rhythm, a healthier environment, or a simpler way of working.

But comfort has a limit. Comfort can improve the life we already have, but it does not always create a new life. It can make the old path softer, but it may not open a new path. It can make the room more beautiful, but it may not take us out of the room.

This is very important when we are facing a big decision. If we only ask, "What feels easier?", we may choose the option that keeps us safe, but not alive. We may choose what reduces friction, but not what awakens the deeper call. We may choose what maintains control, but not what brings growth.

A life based only on comfort can slowly become small. Nothing terrible may be happening. Everything may look acceptable. But the energy of the new is missing. There is no adventure, no expansion, no real movement toward the person we are becoming. We are not in pain, but we are not fully alive either.

Comfort is useful. We need rest. We need tenderness. We need moments where life is simple and kind. But when the soul asks for transformation, comfort alone cannot guide us. For that, we need the creative center.

Decisions From The Creative Center

Walking into an awakened state

A decision from the creative center is different. It is not mainly trying to escape pain, and it is not mainly trying to preserve comfort. It comes from the desire to bring something new into life. It may feel like a call, a spark, a quiet excitement, a possibility, or a direction that has not yet become real.

This kind of decision may not be fully logical at first. It may not give us a perfect map. It may not promise control. In fact, the creative decision often asks us to step into something we cannot completely predict. That is why it can feel both alive and uncomfortable. It carries the energy of the new, and the new cannot be fully controlled.

Artists know this state well. A musician does not create a true song only from comfort. A writer does not write something alive only by trying to avoid fear. A painter does not paint a real work of beauty by staying completely safe. Creation asks for another state. It asks for openness, sensitivity, courage, and contact with something that wants to move through us.

The same is true with life decisions. To choose a new path, we need access to the part of us that can perceive the new. If that part is asleep, the creative option may be right in front of us and still remain invisible.

This is one of the most important ideas from the webinar: if we are not in a creative state, we cannot see the creative possibility. It is not that the creative option looks difficult. It is not that we simply have resistance to it. We may literally not perceive it. Our state decides what becomes visible.

Why Thinking More Can Keep Us Stuck

Most of us were taught to solve important questions by thinking. Thinking is useful. We need the mind. We need reflection, planning, and practical intelligence. But the mind can only work with what it can see. If our state is closed, the mind will make calculations inside a closed field.

Imagine trying to choose a path while standing inside a dark room. You can think very hard about where the door might be, but if there is no light, your thinking is limited. You may become more tense, more tired, and more frustrated. What you need first is not more effort. You need light.

The same happens inside us. If we are in fear and we think for hours, fear colors the thinking. If we are in scarcity, the mind finds reasons why there is not enough. If we are in guilt, the mind looks for punishment. If we are in habit, the mind repeats what it already knows. This is why thinking from the same state often gives us more of the same state.

There is a moment when the wise thing is not to continue thinking. The wise thing is to change state. This does not mean avoiding the decision. It means preparing ourselves to see it from a better place.

Before a big decision, the most important question may be very simple: "How am I right now?" Am I open or closed? Am I alive or flat? Am I choosing from fear, from comfort, or from creativity? Am I trying to escape something, preserve something, or create something true?

These questions do not give us the final answer immediately. But they show us whether we are ready to decide.

The Creative State Is A Living State

A doorway opening into a new path

A creative state is not something strange or mystical in a complicated way. It is a living state. The body is awake. The emotions are moving. Expression is possible. We are not frozen inside ourselves. We are not only in the head. We are connected to life.

The webinar uses the image of the child to explain this. A child is naturally vital. A child moves, feels, expresses, asks, plays, reaches, laughs, cries, and begins again. A child does not need to create a long argument to know that they want to run toward something interesting. Life moves in them, and they respond.

Of course, as adults we need more maturity. We cannot simply follow every impulse. We have responsibilities, relationships, money, work, and consequences to consider. But we can learn from the child's state of aliveness. We can remember that clarity is not born only from control. Sometimes clarity comes when life is allowed to move again.

When we are in a creative state, perception changes. We may see an option that was hidden before. We may feel courage where before there was only heaviness. We may understand that the real question is not the one we were asking. We may suddenly know that the answer is simpler than we thought.

This does not mean that every decision becomes easy. It means that we are no longer trying to choose from a contracted place. We are choosing with more of ourselves present.

The Three Keys: Body, Emotion, And Expression

The webinar offers three simple keys for entering this creative state: vital activation, emotional activation, and free expression. These words may sound big, but the experience is very simple.

Vital activation means waking up the body. When the body is asleep, tense, or flat, the mind often becomes heavy too. A simple walk, deep breathing, stretching, dancing, training, or moving outside can begin to change the inner atmosphere. The body is not separate from clarity. Very often, when the body begins to move, life begins to move again inside the mind.

Emotional activation means allowing ourselves to feel. Many people try to make decisions while keeping their emotions locked away. They want to be rational, calm, and correct, so they push emotion down. But emotion is energy. If we block all emotion, we also block a large part of our creative intelligence.

To be emotionally active does not mean to be dramatic. It does not mean to explode or drown in feeling. It means to honestly notice what is alive inside. Fear may be there. Desire may be there. Sadness, anger, hope, love, excitement, tenderness, or grief may be there. When we allow the emotion to breathe, it becomes information and energy. It stops being a hidden force that controls us from the dark.

Free expression is the third key. This means letting what is inside move outward in a healthy way. We can write, speak, sing, pray, move, draw, cry, shake, or tell the truth out loud. The form is personal. What matters is that the inner pressure begins to flow instead of staying trapped.

When these three things come together, something opens. The body is awake, the emotions are alive, and expression is moving. We are no longer only a head trying to solve a problem. We become a whole person meeting life.

A Simple Way To Practice Before A Decision

Creative expression and inner aliveness

Before making an important decision, we can create a small practice. It does not need to be complicated. It can take twenty minutes, one hour, or a whole day, depending on the size of the decision and the time we have.

First, pause and name your state. You might say, "I am afraid," or "I am tired," or "I feel pressure," or "I want to please everyone," or "I feel something new calling me." This first step already brings honesty. It helps us see who is about to choose.

Then wake up the body. Go for a walk. Breathe deeply. Stretch. Move your arms and legs. Let the body become warmer and more present. Do not do it as a performance. Do it as a way of returning to life.

After that, listen to the emotions. Ask yourself what you really feel about the decision. Not what you should feel. Not what looks spiritual, intelligent, or acceptable. What is actually there? Let it be simple. Let it be honest.

Then express something. Write a page in a notebook without trying to be beautiful. Speak out loud as if you were talking to a trusted friend. Pray if prayer is natural for you. Move if the body wants to move. The goal is not to find the perfect sentence. The goal is to let the inner world breathe.

Only after this, return to the decision. Look again. Ask: what choice feels more alive? What choice opens the future? What choice brings me closer to the person I am becoming? What choice is only trying to escape pain? What choice is only trying to preserve comfort? What choice carries the energy of the new?

The answer may not always arrive like lightning. Sometimes it comes as a small relaxation in the body. Sometimes as a clear no. Sometimes as a quiet yes. Sometimes as a new question. But even then, something has changed. You are no longer looking from the same closed state.

The Path Can Create The Answer

One beautiful idea from the webinar is the example of pilgrimage. In ancient times, when people needed guidance, they often went on a journey. They did not only sit in one place thinking. They walked. They prayed. They made effort. They met people. They slept in new places. They carried an intention. They allowed the path to change them.

The answer was not only waiting at the end of the road. The road itself prepared them to receive the answer. By the time they arrived at the sacred place, they were not the same person who had begun the journey. Their body had moved. Their emotions had opened. Their perception had changed.

This is a powerful teaching for everyday life. Sometimes we want clarity before we move, but movement may be the thing that creates clarity. We want to know the answer before entering the path, but sometimes the answer appears because we enter the path.

This does not mean we should be careless. It means that life is not solved only by thinking from a chair. Sometimes we need to walk, speak, breathe, feel, create, travel, pray, or take a first honest step. The path can awaken the part of us that knows.

Choosing From The Part Of You That Can Create

Seeing a wider horizon before a decision

An aligned decision is not always the easiest decision. It is not always the most comfortable one, and it is not always the one that removes fear immediately. But it has a different quality. It feels connected to life. It feels more honest. It may ask for courage, but it also brings energy.

When a decision comes from the creative center, it often carries a sense of expansion. There may still be uncertainty, but the uncertainty is alive. There may still be effort, but the effort has meaning. There may still be fear, but fear is no longer the leader.

This is why changing state matters so much. We are not trying to become perfect before deciding. We are simply trying to make sure that fear, pain, habit, or comfort are not the only voices in the room. We are inviting the creative part of us to enter the conversation.

That creative part may be quiet at first. It may speak through the body, through a feeling, through an image, through a sudden memory, through a small sense of yes or no. We need to become available to it. We need to give it space.

Change Your State, Then Look Again

If you are facing an important decision and you feel confused, do not attack yourself. Confusion is not a failure. It may simply mean that you are trying to see a new path from an old state.

Instead of forcing the answer, begin by changing the state from which you are looking. Wake up the body. Let the emotions breathe. Express what has been held inside. Give yourself a little space from the pressure to decide immediately.

Then look again.

Maybe the path will be clearer. Maybe one option will feel less true. Maybe another will begin to shine. Maybe you will realize that the real decision is not the one you thought you had to make.

The important thing is this: your perception changes when your energy changes. And when your perception changes, your decisions change too.

So before a big decision, do not only think more. Become more alive. Enter a creative state. Let your body wake up, let your heart speak, let expression move through you.

From that place, clarity is not something you chase.

It is something that can finally meet you.

Tarot Card of the Week: Ace of Pentacles https://innersparklife.com/tarot-card-of-the-week-ace-of-pentacles/ Tue, 16 Jun 2026 17:07:00 +0000 https://innersparklife.com/tarot-card-of-the-week-ace-of-pentacles/ A path opens through a portal shaped like the Pentacle coin.

This card speaks of the paths that lead to success in the material world, or in the financial world.

It is a very good sign when we are beginning a new project, so if you are at the start of something, or if an opportunity appears on your path these days, observe it.

Also, today is the new moon, which is also a good moment to begin new projects.

This is also a card that invites us to embrace the material aspects of the path, to contemplate them, to take them into account, and to define them based on an idea of success.

What is material success for you?

These are the 2 key aspects this card brings.

It is time to open paths that move through the MATERIAL and lead to SUCCESS.

Sometimes we set goals that are abstract, or that stay on the level of emotions, thought, or the mind.

Learning new ideas…

Connecting better with ourselves…

Managing our mood better…

Feeling better…

But this card speaks of paths that transform something tangible in your life: taking a trip, finding the house of your dreams, moving to a new city, transforming your body and getting fit, learning how to fish… or how to fly planes… you name it.

Something that transforms real things in your life.

And then they have another aspect: they are paths that must have SUCCESS as their destination.

Meaning… it is not enough to transform material things and that's it… you have to feel them as a success!!!

Sometimes we begin paths that do not have success as their destination.

We begin them out of inertia, fear, habit, influence, to have more comfort or more ease…

But we do not feel the spark of SUCCESS calling us from the other side!!

Can you feel success at the end of the path you are walking? Can you see it, even if only as a possibility, as a potential?

When the card comes reversed:

It indicates that we are avoiding dealing with the material aspects, or that we are denying our potential for success.

Questions to contemplate:

What do you feel when you imagine having success and material abundance?

Does something in you expand and feel inspired? Or do doubts, worries, second thoughts appear, and the path becomes blurry?

I know many of you are sensitive and spiritual people who feel the call to know yourselves and love yourselves…

And you may tell me… but why so much work with the material and with success if what I truly want is to accept myself and be myself??

In these material adventures, whether they lead you to external success as you conceive it, or whether they lead you somewhere else, they give you the experiences your soul needs in order to awaken and become free.

That is why we have a body, freedom, and energy. To experience ourselves through this life.

This week is for MOVING in the DIRECTION of what MATERIAL SUCCESS means to you.

And also for CONTEMPLATING whether there is something blocking you and stopping you from doing it. Creating awareness and observing it without judgment.

In the end, it is not about whether you get what you want externally…

It is about the experiences you have on the path.

Buuuut the experiences only come when you go after what you want without holding back.

A path that promises you a treasure. Will you walk it?

X marks the spot.

Happy treasure week.

Tarot Card of the Week: Wheel of Fortune https://innersparklife.com/tarot-card-of-the-week-wheel-of-fortune/ Mon, 08 Jun 2026 13:11:00 +0000 https://innersparklife.com/tarot-card-of-the-week-wheel-of-fortune/ This week, the stars are turning above our heads and looking at us with a smile, ready to make our will real.

This card symbolizes the expression: Let Your Will be done, from above to below.

It is the universe aligning with what we want and manifesting it.

We are entering a moment where our decisions, our actions, and the way we align our energy will open one path or another in our life.

It is not about what you desire. If someone asks us, we will all say that we desire wonderful things: love, freedom, power, health, wisdom…

It is about where we place our energy.

Sometimes we want freedom, but we fill our time with responsibilities and practicalities, and we get trapped in that loop.

Or we want love, but we get caught in some accidental conflict and spend the whole day angry with the neighbour or the person we work with.

Where is your energy going this week?

And remember that everything begins in your perception. What we decide to perceive and accept as real is what will multiply in our life.

If we spend the whole day complaining and condemning things as ugly and unfair, according to our understanding, we choose to perceive the ugly and the unfair, and life will bring us more bowls of that same soup.

This is why people who try to change their lives from rejection of what they have only attract more things to reject.

What you choose to perceive as real is what directs your attention and your energy. And it is what will create your reality.

If I tell you: you are free to perceive this world as you wish. What would you choose to perceive?

If during the week the temptation to perceive limitation comes to you, use this prayer to protect yourself:

"I resist believing in this vision of conflict, fear, pain or scarcity.

Now I remember the infinite beauty I have seen in this world.

In the eyes of children, in nature, in the love I have felt.

I also remember the moments when I have felt strong, and I have felt enthusiasm for my life and for my path.

I ask from my heart to see this world of love, potential and abundance,

Now and in the paths that life brings to me."

This card is especially important if you are in a moment of decision or transition. Now more than ever, lift your gaze to the heavens, to whatever represents the highest for you.

When the card comes reversed:

You do not see that what is happening in your life has been the consequence of your decisions.

You deny the power of your will.

You do not perceive the consequences of your actions and thoughts.

Cause and effect are disconnected in your consciousness, and this leads you to not understand what is happening and to not be able to solve it effectively.

Questions to contemplate:

Can I see the connection between my life and my decisions?

Do I feel how what I do and think impacts my environment, my relationships and my energy?

If I were standing at a crossroads, and I had to make a decision for my future, what would be my greatest priority?

The universe looks at you smiling, patient, waiting for your signal.

Let Your Will be done,

How to REALLY See and Overcome Your Money Blockages https://innersparklife.com/overcome-spiritual-money-blocks/ Tue, 14 Oct 2025 09:00:00 +0000 https://innersparklife.com/overcome-spiritual-money-blocks/ The Spiritual Elephant in the Room 🐘 Why We NEED to Talk About Money

Okay, let’s just dive in and talk about money. Money, money, money… you know, it’s a huge taboo, especially in our spiritual circles. But why is it so important, so absolutely crucial, that we talk about it?

Because there comes a point in your journey when spirituality is no longer just a hobby. It’s not just something you read in a book or a practice you do on the weekend at your yoga class. When you truly want your personal development—the deep work with your soul and your being—to expand into all areas of your life, then, my friend, money comes into play. We just can’t avoid it.

We live in a society that is deeply, deeply connected to and conditioned by money. Sooner or later, your spiritual path is going to collide with this material reality, because the experiences you want to have and the impact you want to make in this physical world are tied to it.

This becomes so, so intense for those of us with a calling to serve, to guide, to heal others. I know so many spiritual entrepreneurs, healers, and guides who have enormous problems with money. The conflict is real, and it shows up in very specific ways. See if this sounds familiar:

  • You struggle to put a price on your work. You feel a real tension when it comes to monetizing your gifts or your spiritual service.
  • You don’t ask for what’s fair. It feels uncomfortable asking for compensation that reflects the true value of what you offer. It feels… wrong, somehow.
  • You’re afraid to create higher-value offers. The idea of launching a retreat, a coaching program, or any service that requires a bigger investment from the client just paralyzes you.
  • You feel an inner tension. The moment you have to talk about money, think about your finances, or negotiate a price, you feel your body tense up. You look for any excuse to avoid the conversation.

If any of this is hitting home for you, you’re not alone. Believe me. But these are just the surface-level symptoms of a much, much deeper conflict.

Image 2

The Real Conflict: The War Within Yourself ⚔

This is the root of the problem, and believe me, it’s a big one. The reason you feel that inner friction, that tension, is because one part of you wants money, but another part of you is actively rejecting it.

You might be thinking, “Pablo, what are you talking about? There’s nothing I want more than money. I want to be free, to travel, to live the life I’ve always dreamed of!” And yes, I hear you. That part of you is telling the truth.

But you have to be honest with yourself. If you can’t talk about money without feeling tense, if you can’t set a price for your services without your stomach turning, if you can’t even think about your finances without a wave of stress washing over you… it means there is a conflict.

A part of you is fighting against it.

To overcome your money blocks, you must first be willing to meet and understand this hidden part of yourself—the part that is avoiding money. You have to find out why it’s pushing abundance away.

Decoding the Energy of Money: It’s Not What You Think ☀

So, to understand what you’re rejecting, we first have to understand what money is. And I’m not talking about paper or numbers on a screen. Money is a physical representation of a very specific, very powerful energy.

Think of it as the energy of the Sun.

In the shamanic tradition, this energy is connected to our third chakra, the Solar Plexus or Manipura, which is the center of our personal power. Its core qualities are:

  • Vitality & Activity: It’s the force that gets you out of bed in the morning, the drive to move, the spark of life itself.
  • Creation: It’s the raw power to bring ideas into the material world, to build, and to manifest.
  • Confidence & Personal Power: It is the energy of self-worth and the ability to stand in your own authority, to own your life.

And here is the key insight, the big realization: You might not be rejecting money itself, but the essential qualities that are inherent to it. The things that come with money are what that hidden part of you is truly afraid of.

Image 4

The Three Hidden Blocks to Your Abundance

Okay, now we get to the core of it. If you are rejecting the energy of the Sun—the energy of money—it will show up in your life as a resistance to one or more of these three fundamental qualities.

Block 1: The Fear of Responsibility 😬

More money often means more responsibility. Responsibility for your clients, for your projects, for your team, and ultimately, for your own life. And this is a huge, huge block for many people.

You have to be brutally honest with yourself here. Ask yourself: How do you feel when something depends 100% on you? Is it something that brings you joy, that inspires you? Or is it something that generates resistance, that you try to avoid at all costs?

When a client comes to you with a deep trauma or a difficult problem, and you commit to helping them, you are taking on a great responsibility. When you host a retreat and people invest thousands of dollars to spend five days with you, you are responsible for their entire experience. Of course, you can’t control their inner journey, but you are absolutely responsible for the container you create—the lodging, the excursions, the practices.

If you find yourself constantly blaming others, or the government, or the economy, or your family for the problems in your life, you are avoiding responsibility. You’re saying, “The failures in my life are not mine.” This is a perfect, exact formula for having financial problems, because when you reject responsibility, you are rejecting the very energy of money.

Block 2: The Desire for Passivity 🛋

Here, my friend, lies a great paradox. So many people want money… so they can finally do nothing. They want the energy of action so they can lie on a couch and have others handle things for them.

Think about it for a second. It’s crazy, you know? You are asking for the energy of vitality (money) so that you can be more passive. You are asking for the energy of the Sun so you can live in the shade. This creates a massive internal conflict.

Look at your relationship with activity and vitality in your daily life.

  • Is getting up in the morning easy for you, or is it a difficult struggle?
  • Is exercising a source of joy or a constant battle?
  • Do you have a proactive attitude, or do you find yourself defaulting to a passive one on the sofa, escaping into movies, video games, or drama?

The people who are not just wealthy, but truly free with money—the ones who have what they need and enjoy it without living in a state of scarcity—they are active, committed people. They move. You see these successful entrepreneurs; the first thing they talk about is their morning routine, hitting the gym, taking a cold shower. Activity is directly connected to the energy of the Sun.

Your resistance to living an active, vital life is another primary source of your conflict with money.

Block 3: The Aversion to Adventure & Risk 🏞

The energy of your personal power, your Solar Plexus, is fundamentally linked to adventure and the willingness to take risks. A risk is simply investing your energy into something without a 100% guarantee of the outcome.

Money flows where there is a willingness to step out of the comfort zone.

Every adventure has an element of risk. Imagine you want to climb a mountain to see the incredible view from the summit. That’s your goal. But you don’t know what will happen along the way. It might rain, you might have to walk through mud, it might get cold, or a friend might give up, and you’ll have to continue alone. But you accept this risk for the potential reward.

Now, look at your life. You say you want money, but do you reject adventure and risk?

  • When a friend invites you on an impromptu trip to Peru to work with shamans, do you feel the call of adventure, or do you immediately think, “Oh, that sounds dangerous… the jungle, the spiders… what could happen?” and retreat to your comfort zone?
  • When you’re invited to a free-form dance event, do you join in, or do you worry, “What will people think of me?” and stay on the sidelines?
  • When you see that person you’re attracted to at a party, do you go for it, or does the fear of rejection keep you home with Netflix?

If a part of you consistently chooses comfort over adventure, and safety over risk, you are creating a direct conflict with the energy of abundance.

The Solution: From Resistance to Inspiration ✨

So, what’s the solution? The path forward isn’t about forcing yourself to do things you hate. It’s about identifying which of these energies—Responsibility, Activity, or Adventure & Risk—you have the most resistance to, and then transforming that resistance into genuine inspiration.

Think about someone who is deeply committed to their physical health. At the very beginning, going to the gym might have felt like a chore. They had to fight through layers of laziness and resistance. But now? They don’t go because they have to; they go because they want to. They need it. They are inspired by it. If you ask them to skip the gym to watch a movie, they’ll say, “No way, I’m going to the gym!”

This is the exact transformation you are aiming for. The goal is to work through your resistance until you are no longer forcing yourself to be active, to take responsibility, or to embrace adventure. The goal is to become genuinely inspired by these things.

When you feel inspired by taking on a new challenge (responsibility), when you feel inspired to get your body moving (activity), and when you feel inspired to say “yes” to a new experience (adventure), your internal conflict dissolves.

And when that happens, your relationship with money heals itself. It stops being a taboo, a source of pain, or a dark spot in your life. You begin to feel inspired and joyful when you talk about money, think about it, receive it, and give it.

What My Grandfather’s Orange Grove Taught Me About Life’s Cycles https://innersparklife.com/shamanic-cycle-four-suns-orange-grove/ Thu, 25 Sep 2025 09:00:00 +0000 https://innersparklife.com/shamanic-cycle-four-suns-orange-grove/ My Grandfather, the Orange Trees, and a Lesson I Never Forgot

When I was a little boy, my world was filled with the rhythms of nature. My grandfather ran a family business centered around orange groves, and I used to spend a lot of time with him out in the fields. My favorite time of year, without a doubt, was spring.

I can still close my eyes and remember it. Imagine standing in a field surrounded by hundreds of orange trees, all bursting with the most beautiful, fragrant white flowers you’ve ever seen—we call them azahar. For a kid who was 5 or 6 years old, it was pure paradise. The sight, the incredible smell… it was magical, an experience that captured all your senses.

But then came the part I couldn’t understand. A few weeks later, all those perfect, beautiful flowers would die. They’d just fall away. It was heartbreaking for me. I’d look at my grandfather, who was always so calm and peaceful, and ask him, “Grandpa, why do the flowers have to die? Why can’t we just have these beautiful flowers all the time?”

He would look at me, not even raising an eyebrow, completely at peace, and say something so simple yet so profound: “Pablito, the flower has to die for the orange to come in October.”

Wow. For the orange to come—the fruit, the goal, the very purpose of the tree—the beautiful flower had to die. It wasn’t a tragedy; it was just part of the process. In that moment, a seed was planted in my mind, though it would take many, many years for me to fully understand it: death is not an end. It’s a necessary part of a much larger cycle. It’s a part of life.

Image 2

Why Do We Get Stuck? The Modern World’s Missing Piece

That lesson from the orange grove is a beautiful metaphor for our own lives. We all have “orange trees,” don’t we? Maybe it’s a project you want to launch, a relationship you want to build, or a personal transformation you want to achieve. We all have goals, dreams, and things we want to manifest.

But here’s where we run into trouble. We start a new venture, full of excitement and beautiful “flowers,” but then something happens. A challenge appears, an initial plan fails, or a relationship ends. We experience a small death, a dissolution. And what do we do? We panic. We think, “Oh no, I’ve done something wrong. This isn’t working. This is a failure.”

Imagine if you didn’t know how an orange tree worked and you saw all its beautiful flowers falling off. You’d probably think the tree was sick or dying. You might even try to “fix” it by spraying it with chemicals, only to end up harming the tree and preventing the fruit from ever growing.

That’s exactly what we do in our own lives. Our modern world has lost touch with the wisdom of cycles. We live in a culture of instant gratification. We want the perfect outcome, and we want it now. We don’t respect the process. We resist the natural endings and deaths that are necessary for new life and growth. By fighting the cycle, we get stuck. We end up stagnant, drained of energy, and wondering why we never get to the fruit.

Ancient Wisdom for Modern Problems: The Shamanic Cycle of the Four Suns

So, how do we get back in sync with this natural flow? Luckily, we have two powerful guides that can teach us everything we need to know.

The first, as my grandfather showed me, is nature itself. The seasons, the cycle of day and night, the life of a plant—they all reflect this constant rhythm of birth, growth, death, and renewal. It’s a wisdom that is always available to us if we just pay attention.

The second guide is ancient traditions. Shamanic cultures, Druids, and other indigenous peoples lived in deep connection with the earth. They understood these cycles intimately because their survival depended on it. They didn’t see life as a straight line but as a spiral, a sacred dance.

One of the most profound maps for this journey comes from the shamanic traditions of Altai, Siberia. It’s called The Cycle of the Four Suns. This beautiful teaching breaks down the adventure of life into four distinct phases, giving us a clear and practical framework for understanding our own journey of manifestation and growth.

Image 4

The First Sun (Spring & Sunrise): Answering the Call of Your Soul

What is the First Sun?

The first phase of the cycle corresponds to spring and sunrise. It’s that magical moment when a new idea sparks, a new passion ignites, or a new path calls to you. It’s the feeling of pure enthusiasm for something new and brilliant. It could be the desire to take a trip, start a creative project, get to know someone better, or finally free yourself from a fear that has held you back.

This is the stage where your soul opens up. It’s a connection to the future, to potential, to the promise of a bright new day. You feel something pulling you forward, something that seduces and excites you. This is your inner child saying, “Yes! This! I want to experience this!”

How We Get Trapped in the First Sun

Many of us get stuck right at the beginning. The first major obstacle is losing the connection with our inner child. When we are disconnected, we can no longer see what excites us. Life becomes a mechanical routine, and even though a new sunrise happens every morning, we feel nothing. We become incapable of even starting the adventure.

The second obstacle is when we do see what calls us, but we immediately judge and reject it. We don’t have the faith or the guts to follow it. Our minds jump in with a thousand excuses: “That’s just a fantasy,” “I don’t have the time/money/energy for that,” “Maybe next year,” “I’m too old for this.” By doing this, we reject the existential journey before it even begins, settling for a life of mere survival and comfort that eventually leads to burnout, depression, and a deep sense of being stuck.

What You Need to Move Through This Stage

To successfully navigate the First Sun, you need to cultivate a strong connection with your inner child. It’s about giving yourself permission to dream, to feel excitement, and to listen to your soul’s desires without judgment. It requires the courage to say “YES” to that inner calling, even when you don’t have a perfect plan. This is the essential first step to entering the sacred cycle of growth.

The Second Sun (Summer & Midday): Turning Your Vision into Reality

What is the Second Sun?

Once you’ve answered the call of the First Sun, you enter the second phase, which corresponds to summer and midday. This is the stage of action. It’s a yang, masculine energy phase where you take that inspiring idea and bring it down to earth. It’s about creating a plan, taking concrete steps, and committing to the project. This is when you’re full of vitality and energy, moving and making things happen in the world.

Think about the peak of summer—it’s a time of high activity, travel, and experiences. You are actively working to manifest the dream that gave you butterflies in your stomach during the First Sun.

How We Get Trapped in the Second Sun

The biggest obstacle here is confronting resistance and non-ideality. In the First Sun, your dream was a perfect, ideal potential. But when you try to make it real, you encounter the messy reality of the material world. The train is late, the hotel smells weird, your business plan hits a snag, people around you react negatively to your changes. Things are not perfect.

This is where many people give up. They think, “This is too hard. It shouldn’t be like this. If it were truly spiritual and aligned, it would be easy.” They retreat back to the safety of the First Sun, preferring to daydream about the perfect vision rather than face the challenges of reality. They get stuck in a loop of planning and dreaming, but never truly manifesting.

What You Need to Move Through This Stage

To navigate the Second Sun, you need personal power. In shamanism, we call this kut—your inner fire, determination, and the capacity to handle intensity. It’s about developing resilience, self-love, and the strength to overcome obstacles without giving up. You must accept that resistance is a natural part of creation. Manifesting anything meaningful in the physical world requires effort, confidence, and the courage to face imperfection head-on.

Image 6

The Third Sun (Autumn & Sunset): The Crucial Inner Journey of Integration

What is the Third Sun?

After the action-packed phase of the Second Sun, we enter the period of the Third Sun, which corresponds to autumn and sunset. This is a yin, feminine energy phase where the focus shifts from the outer world to the inner world. All the actions you took and experiences you had in the previous stage have stirred something inside you—emotions, memories, fears, and attachments. The Third Sun is the time for the inner journey.

For example, you missed the train on your trip (Second Sun action). You managed the situation and found a solution, but now you feel insecure and out of control. That feeling is the beginning of your Third Sun journey. The cycle isn’t just about building things externally; it’s about discovering yourself. This is the crucial stage of emotional and energetic integration.

How We Get Trapped in the Third Sun

The main obstacle here is an inability to feel and take responsibility for our inner world. We live in a society that encourages constant doing, not feeling. So, when uncomfortable emotions surface, instead of looking inward, we project them outward. We blame the train company, our friend who was ten minutes late, or our partner for our feelings of insecurity. We see our inner state as someone else’s fault.

By projecting instead of integrating, we interrupt the cycle. We create conflicts, ruin relationships, and sabotage our own projects. We get stuck in a loop of blame and emotional reactivity, never getting to the root of our experience and never learning the lesson the cycle is trying to teach us.

What You Need to Move Through This Stage

To navigate the Third Sun, you need the capacity to stop, be still, and feel. It requires you to connect with your body, your emotions, and your sensations without judgment and without identifying with them. It’s about observation. You need the courage to sit with your inner discomfort and ask, “What is this experience trying to show me about myself?” This requires a gentle, receptive, and feminine energy—the willingness to simply be with what is, allowing for true integration to happen.

The Fourth Sun (Winter & Night): The Sacred Art of Letting Go

What is the Fourth Sun?

Finally, we arrive at the Fourth Sun, the phase corresponding to winter and the deep night. This is also a yin stage, but it goes deeper than the third. This is the moment of death, surrender, and rebirth. After integrating your emotions, you come face-to-face with the root of your inner journey: the beliefs, memories, and personalities you developed (often as a child) that are generating these experiences.

This is the most profound part of the cycle. It’s where you realize, “Oh, this pattern, this fear… this isn’t the real me. It’s just a construct.” The Fourth Sun is the sacred process of letting go of these false identities so your true self can emerge. This is where the old flower truly dies, making space for new life.

How We Get Trapped in the Fourth Sun

The biggest obstacle in this final stage is a lack of faith in a higher power. We try to fix ourselves with the same mind that created the problem. The ego cannot release itself. We resist surrendering control because we are afraid of the unknown. We cling to our old, painful identities because, at least, they are familiar.

This final, crucial step cannot be done alone. It requires help from what shamans call Spirit, or what others might call the Universe, God, or Higher Consciousness. Without the humility to ask for help, we block the miracle of transformation and remain stuck with our old baggage, unable to complete the cycle and be truly renewed.

What You Need to Move Through This Stage

To navigate the Fourth Sun, you need faith and humility. This is the stage of prayer and open-hearted surrender. It’s not about begging, but about opening a genuine dialogue with something greater than yourself. It’s the humble recognition that you don’t have all the answers and you need help.

In A Course in Miracles, this moment of release is called a “miracle”—a correction in the mind performed by a higher intelligence. By opening your heart and asking for this intervention, you allow your psyche to be healed. This act of surrender is what finally liberates your soul, completes the cycle, and prepares you to enter a new spring with renewed energy and wisdom.

Are You Ready to Let Your Own Cycle Flow?

From the enthusiasm of spring to the action of summer, the introspection of autumn, and the surrender of winter—this cycle is constantly happening within you and around you. It’s in your projects, your relationships, and your own body. The trees don’t cling to their leaves in autumn, and the flower doesn’t resist dying to become a fruit. Yet, we do. We interrupt these natural processes, and as a result, we get stuck, burnt out, and disconnected from our own vitality.

By ignoring this ancient wisdom, we accumulate old energies, unresolved conflicts, and fears from the past. We forget how to renew ourselves. But when you learn to understand and respect these four stages in your own life, everything changes. You stop fighting reality and start flowing with it. You regain your creativity, your joy, and a deep sense of purpose.

8 Qualities You Were Born With (And How to Reclaim Them) https://innersparklife.com/how-to-reclaim-the-8-qualities-you-were-born-with/ Mon, 22 Sep 2025 08:00:00 +0000 https://innersparklife.com/how-to-reclaim-the-8-qualities-you-were-born-with/ So, You Think You Need to “Work On” Being a Better Person? Think Again.

Let’s talk about those amazing qualities we all admire in others—and wish we had more of ourselves. You know the ones: kindness, generosity, confidence… the good stuff. But we’re going to flip the script on how you think about them. Forget everything you’ve heard about “developing” these qualities from zero, as if you were an empty cup that needs filling.

Here’s a wild thought: You were born with all of them. Yep, every single one. They are part of your spiritual DNA, your birthright. It’s not something you need to learn, but something you need to uncover. Imagine it less like building a new house and more like decluttering a beautiful room that’s been buried under junk for years. The room has always been there; you just need to clear the way to see it again. ✨

So, if we’re all born with these awesome traits, why does it often feel like they’re missing? Well, life happens. Society, with its endless rules, expectations, and judgments, creates a kind of “bad spirit” or a distorted version of each quality. From a shamanic perspective, these “spirits” are clever tricksters. They take something pure, like kindness, and twist it into a mechanical duty—something you do to get social approval or avoid conflict. This twisted version traps us, making our actions stem from fear instead of genuine feeling.

To really get what true kindness is, we need to see what it’s not. To feel real confidence, we have to recognize its fake, fragile twin. That’s why, for each quality, we’ll look at both sides of the coin: its Dharma (its pure, natural expression) and the social deviation that messes it all up. This isn’t about trying harder to be “good.” It’s about cleaning your perception. Once you clear away the distortions, these qualities will start bubbling up on their own—spontaneously, joyfully, and straight from the heart.

1. Kindness: What if It’s Not About Being a “Nice Guy”?

When someone says “practice kindness,” what comes to mind? Probably some guided meditation telling you to send loving thoughts to someone, right? It’s a sweet idea, but it only shows half the picture. The mind learns through contrast, not just one-sided, feel-good instructions. To truly understand kindness, we have to get real about what it has become for most of us: a mechanical performance.

Behind the pure energy of kindness, there’s often a “bad spirit” lurking: the spirit of forced kindness. This is the deviation that tricks us. It’s the version of kindness born from a fear of what others will think. It’s that social pressure to always be pleasant, agreeable, and nice. Ever been to a place where everyone is super polite, but you can just feel the tension under the surface? That’s not real kindness; it’s a social ritual, a defense mechanism to avoid criticism. 😬

This deviation traps us in the “nice guy” or “nice girl” role. When we play this part, we start giving away our personal power. We choose being seen as sweet and soft over being our wild, authentic selves. We bite our tongues and swallow our truth because we’re scared of making waves. But what is true kindness, then?

It’s not about being mechanically sweet. True kindness is spontaneous. It erupts from your heart as a genuine wish for the well-being of others and yourself. It’s not an act you put on to avoid judgment; it’s an authentic expression of love.

And here’s the game-changer: the outward expression of true kindness isn’t always gentle. Sometimes, the kindest thing you can do is be a little rough. It might mean being direct, setting a firm boundary, or having an honest conversation that feels uncomfortable. Think about a relationship where one person is always accommodating to avoid fights. That “soft” kindness prevents any real issues from being resolved, leading the relationship straight to hell. The truly kind act might have been a tough, honest talk that looked anything but “nice” in the moment.

The secret to this higher kindness is seeing the true essence of another person—their soul, their highest potential. When you connect with that part of someone, kindness just flows. It’s not a strategy; it’s what happens naturally when your perception is clean and your heart is open. ❤

2. Generosity: Are You Giving Freely or Just Setting a Trap?

Just like kindness, generosity gets seriously twisted by social programming. We’re taught to focus on the act of giving, but we rarely stop to check the hidden intentions behind it. The most common distortion? Giving with strings attached. This turns a beautiful quality into a sneaky tool for manipulation and control.

Let’s break down the fakes:

  • Giving for applause: This is the politician posing for a photo-op at a charity event. The act isn’t about joy; it’s about being seen as a good person. The prize they want is a round of applause from the public.
  • Giving out of obligation: You know this one. It’s when you give because you feel you have to, not because you want to. You hand over the money or your time, but inside, you feel resentful and drained. That’s because the act is totally disconnected from your heart.

But the most toxic deviation of all is giving to feel entitled. This is when you shower someone with your time, money, or energy, and a little voice inside starts whispering, “They owe me.” You start feeling entitled to make demands, believing they are now obligated to you. It’s giving in exchange for control. We see it all the time in families, when a parent says, “I gave you everything, and this is how you repay me?” That single sentence turns the unconditional gift of life into a transaction, a debt. 🤢

So, what does pure generosity look like? It works on one simple, beautiful rule: the reward for giving is the feeling you get while giving. That’s it. The reward isn’t what you get back; it’s the buzz of joy in that very moment. Think of a little kid handing you a flower they just picked. They’re not looking for a payback; they’re just sharing a spark of delight.

This feeling of joy is your ultimate bullshit detector. If you give and feel depleted afterward, it’s a red flag that your generosity wasn’t pure. You were probably acting from obligation or a hidden agenda. But when you find that delight in the act of giving? You’re already receiving. The act itself fills you up. True generosity isn’t a sacrifice—it’s an experience of joy. 🎉

3. Confidence: The Solid Core vs. the Fragile Mask

Confidence is probably one of the most misunderstood qualities out there. Its true home is in your solar plexus, your center of personal power, and it’s deeply connected to your innate sense of self-worth. But society has cooked up a powerful and toxic fake version: a “confidence” that isn’t built on inner strength, but on the external validation of others.

This fake confidence is the work of a parasitic personality. To feel good about itself, it needs to make others feel small. Its sense of worth isn’t generated from within; it’s stolen from the energy of people around it. This is the person who gets aggressive, attacks others, or humiliates them in public just to get a quick hit of superiority. This behavior is a flashing red light for a broken sense of confidence. Because they feel worthless deep down, they build a mask of arrogance and try to drag everyone else down with them.

So many people live their whole lives protecting this fragile mask. They build a comfort zone—a job, a family, a social circle—where they feel safe and valued. But the moment you take them out of that environment, their confidence shatters. I’ve been there. When I moved to a new country, I was totally out of my element, and my sense of value took a nosedive. It was a clear sign that my confidence wasn’t solid yet; it depended on my surroundings and the roles I played.

True confidence is the complete opposite. It’s a rock-solid sense of your own value that comes directly from your soul. It has nothing to do with your job, your bank account, or what people think of you. You could be broke, dirty, or in a totally awkward situation, and you would never lose touch with your intrinsic worth. You have zero doubt about the value of your being. This is what Jesus was getting at when he said, “I am the son of God, and you are too.” He was pointing to the highest value imaginable—one that’s baked into all of us, not earned.

So, how do you get this real-deal confidence? You can’t build it by stacking up achievements. The only way is to embrace challenges. A challenge is any situation that rattles your current sense of value. The deep fear behind avoiding them is that you’ll fail, and that failure will expose you as worthless. My biggest fear was always that people would see right through me and find nothing there.

But it’s by facing those exact situations that you build the real thing. You have to willingly step out of your comfort zone. In this world, one of the best ways to work on this is through the energy of money, because it instantly shows you how much value you feel you have. How much do you charge for your work? How comfortable are you asking for what you’re worth? These aren’t just business questions; they are deep spiritual practices that force you to connect with that unshakable value within. 💪

4. Trust: Are You Surrendering or Just Trying to Control Everything?

Of all the qualities we’re born with, trust might be the one most twisted by our modern world. Society drills a deeply flawed idea into us: that the only way to feel trust is to control every little thing. This is the great deviation, the “bad spirit” that promises security but only delivers a lifetime of stress.

This messed-up version of trust is based on the idea that if we can just manage our job, our partner, our finances, and our future, then we can finally relax and feel safe. So, we create rigid plans, build strict routines, and try to make every part of life predictable. When everything is going according to plan, we might feel a temporary, artificial sense of trust. But it’s incredibly fragile.

Why? Because this control is a complete illusion. Life is, by its very nature, unpredictable. The moment something unexpected happens—a job loss, a breakup, an illness—our carefully built world of control shatters, and our so-called trust vanishes with it. This constant effort to micromanage life is exhausting. It keeps us in a state of perpetual stress and anger because, deep down, we know our grip is weak. We can’t build real trust this way; we can only build a prison of anxiety.

True trust has nothing to do with control. In fact, it’s the exact opposite: it’s the willingness to surrender. It’s the deep, unshakable feeling that life will always bring you what you need for your evolution. It’s being open to receiving whatever comes your way—the good, the bad, the painful, and the beautiful. It’s a profound faith in a higher wisdom, in the meaning of life itself. It’s knowing that behind every single experience, no matter how chaotic it seems, there is a purpose and there is love.

This kind of trust lets you feel calm and safe without needing to have all your ducks in a row. It’s the feeling of being held. For me, the ultimate test of this was in an Ayahuasca ceremony. There, you’re asked to give up 100% of your control—not just over your weekend plans, but over your body, your mind, and your entire experience of reality. You have to surrender completely.

The biggest roadblock to this state is the fear of losing the reality we cling to—our identity, our body, our illusions of stability. We’re terrified of letting go. But we can’t build real trust by holding on tighter. The only way is to practice surrender. It’s by entering a state of letting go that we open the door to a trust that isn’t fragile and artificial, but powerful, deep, and liberating. 🙏

5. Beginner’s Mind: Are You Seeing the World or Just Your Own History?

This next quality, the “Beginner’s Mind,” is all about your perception. It’s the ability to be fresh and new in every single moment, to see the world without the dusty filter of your past experiences and judgments. It’s a state of pure, childlike openness. Sounds lovely, right? 🤩

But it has one huge enemy: the simple declaration, “I know.”

The moment you think “I know,” you’ve slammed the door on the present and locked yourself in the past. This is the biggest trap, especially for people on a spiritual path. Ironically, the ones who are most resistant to new knowledge are often those who think they’re already experts. The first step to real wisdom is admitting you know nothing. Only then can you actually open your mind to what’s possible.

This “knowing” mind doesn’t see reality; it sees your history projected onto reality. For example, a friend makes one mistake, and from that day on, you only see them through the lens of that screw-up. You’re no longer interacting with the person standing in front of you, but with your judgment of their past. This closes off all potential for the future. A beginner’s mind, on the other hand, is innocent. It sees the potential of the future, not the prison of the past. It’s the only way new things—new relationships, new ideas, new breakthroughs—can enter your life.

However, practicing this can bring up a deep vulnerability: the program of comparison. This is the shadow side that pops up when our self-worth isn’t solid. I’ve been there. I’m generally open, but in that openness, I can start to lose my own sense of value. When I see someone who knows more or does something better than me, I start to doubt myself. I lose connection with my own worth.

This is a critical point. The goal isn’t to empty yourself out and just become a copy of someone else. But when our confidence is shaky, that’s what happens. We see excellence in another person and, instead of feeling inspired, we feel small. This triggers a “bad spirit” reaction: the urge to copy. We think, “What they’re doing is better, so I have to do that too.” This isn’t learning; it’s desperately trying to borrow value from outside because we haven’t built it inside ourselves.

If you can’t admire others without feeling like crap about yourself, it’s a clear sign that the comparison program is running your life. The work isn’t to be less open, but to strengthen your own core of self-worth. When you can witness excellence, appreciate it, and still stay connected to your own unique value, that’s when you are truly free to learn. 🌟

6. Non-Judgment: Are You Living Freely or Stuck in a Cage You Built?

This quality, non-judgment, is a big one. It’s connected to the third eye, the Ajna chakra, which is all about how we perceive reality. Its opposite, judgment, comes from a very sneaky and deep desire: the desire to own the truth. When we judge, we grab one tiny piece of our perception, one single angle, and declare it to be the absolute, 100% truth. We try to force the infinite, messy, beautiful flow of life into a tiny, rigid box. And in doing so, we distort reality itself.

This is exactly how we build our fixed personalities, our identities. We make a judgment: “I am Pablo, the engineer,” “I’m the kind one in the family,” or “I’m a victim.” These judgments become the steel bars of a cage we build around ourselves. This is the ultimate trap, the place where the soul starts to suffocate. Your soul wants to be a warrior one day, a playful child the next, then a wise queen, and then a wild dancer. But the judgmental mind has locked it into a single, boring role. ⛓

To protect this fragile identity, we then use judgment against others. We judge people based on how neatly they fit into our version of the truth. Those who support our identity become our friends; those who challenge it become our enemies. For example, if you’re unconsciously identified with being a victim, you’ll probably judge empowered people as “arrogant” or “cheaters.” You do this to protect your story, because their power is a direct threat to your identity cage.

The key to escaping this prison is one of the most profound spiritual truths you’ll ever encounter: your perception is not the truth; it is a tool. In our everyday world, we see our identity as something fixed that gives us a sense of self. But in its highest form, perception is flexible, something you can pick up and use.

Think of a shamanic practice used by athletes. Before a big rugby match, you might see a team doing a ritual, acting like wild animals. In that moment, they aren’t just pretending. They are aligning their perception with that of an animal, embodying its ferocity, power, and instinct. They are using perception as a tool to win the game. An actor does the same thing, stepping into a different perception to become a character on stage.

True non-judgment is the freedom to do this in your own life. It’s the ability to change your point of view, to melt the rigid identity you’ve created, and to enter a state where you can be anything. One moment, you can be a child, full of wonder. The next, a fish, feeling the flow of the current. Then a queen, feeling empowered. This is the freedom your soul craves. The way to cultivate it is through practices like meditation and shamanic journeys, which are designed to dissolve that fixed point of “you” and let you access the limitless potential you were born with. ✨

7. Patience: Why Your Healing Isn’t a Race (And How to Honor Your Own Pace)

In our modern world, we want everything fast. Fast food, fast internet, and fast results. The ego hates waiting, and this impatience has created a world that’s totally disconnected from the natural rhythms of life. This is the great deviation of patience: the belief that we can speed up our transformation, that we can force our healing to happen on a timeline we control.

This shows up everywhere in the world of self-improvement. You see programs offering a fixed, linear path: “Heal these five wounds in this exact order, and you will be whole.” But that’s not how life actually works. When I look at my own healing, I see that things come up in their own time, at their own speed. You can’t just decide which deep wound will surface first. After more than a decade of this work, wounds from my earliest childhood are only just beginning to show themselves. You have to heal the outer layers before you can even get to the core.

This mechanical, step-by-step approach isn’t designed for real healing; it’s designed to be sold. It preys on our fear and offers a rigid structure that feels safe. But real growth is organic, not mechanical. A lack of patience makes us build new things on top of old, messy foundations, which just guarantees that we’ll repeat the same cycles over and over again. 🔄

True patience is the willingness to respect the cycles of life, just like we see in nature. Life doesn’t move in a straight line; it moves in spirals. There is a time for action and a time for stillness, a time for creating and a time for integrating. Patience is understanding which part of the cycle you’re in and actually honoring it.

Think of the seasons. There’s a time of growth and action, like summer, when everything is happening externally. But then comes autumn, a time of integration. This is when the real work happens inside. You have to reflect on your experiences and let the lessons sink in. To the impatient mind, it feels like nothing is happening, but it’s the most crucial part.

After integration comes winter, a time of emptiness and silence. We often mistake this phase for depression, but it’s a sacred space of contemplation. It’s the fertile ground upon which something new can finally begin to grow. Our impatience makes us fear this emptiness. We rush to start a new project or relationship without having fully integrated the last one, and so we’re doomed to repeat our old mistakes.

These cycles are happening all the time, on every level of our lives. Patience is the wisdom to understand that every phase is necessary. It’s the deep knowing that things unfold at their own speed, in their own time, according to a rhythm far greater than our own will. 🌱

8. Gratitude: The Ultimate Unlock (And the Ego’s Greatest Fear)

We’ve arrived at the highest of all qualities, the key that unlocks the door to a state of prayer itself: gratitude. Because it’s so powerful, its twisted version is equally poisonous. While generosity is the joy of giving, gratitude is the joy of receiving. But our society has become an expert at killing that joy.

The “bad spirit” of gratitude turns it into a weapon of control. It’s the voice of a parent saying, “Look at everything I gave you; you should be grateful.” Here, “gratitude” isn’t an invitation to feel joy; it’s a demand for your energy. It’s used to make you feel small, indebted, and trapped in a toxic power game. Because this manipulative dynamic is so common, many of us instinctively flinch at the very idea of being grateful.

But the most powerful force that kills gratitude comes from within: the ego’s sense of ownership. The ego loves to believe it’s the sole creator of its reality. It wants all the credit for its health, its success, its intelligence. The idea that “I built this,” “I earned this,” or “I made myself who I am” is the ego’s favorite story. This sense of ownership makes true gratitude impossible, because gratitude requires admitting that you are not a self-sufficient, isolated island.

True gratitude is the radical recognition that everything you have is a gift. It’s the direct experience of being in a constant, beautiful relationship with life. Your body, your consciousness, your very breath—it’s all provided. This shatters the ego, which thrives on the sexy idea of being an independent hero. But in reality, we need air, water, food, and other people. We are not alone. 🙏

The ego suffers when it hears this, but your soul is liberated. The path is simple, but not easy:

  1. First, take time to truly contemplate your blessings—not just the stuff you own, but your health, your creativity, your potential, your freedom.
  2. Then comes the step that crushes the ego: realize that you didn’t create them. You received them. Your talents, your power, your intelligence—they were given to you.

When you fully recognize that everything is a gift, your heart cracks open. The sense of ownership dissolves. And when there is no owner, there is no isolated self. You realize your life is sustained by a force far greater than your own will. The only sane response is to surrender and say, “Thank you.” This is true gratitude, the highest state of being, where you are not alone, but one with everything. 💖

Your True Self Isn’t Lost. It’s Just Buried.

So, here’s the real takeaway: you don’t need to build a better version of yourself. You just need to excavate the incredible one that’s already there. These eight qualities are not medals to be won or skills to be learned; they are the very music of your soul, waiting for you to finally clear out the noise.

The real work isn’t about adding more layers, but about bravely stripping away everything that isn’t truly you—the fears, the judgments, the roles you’ve been playing for far too long. This is a journey of remembering, of returning to the powerful, authentic, and free person you were always meant to be.

Stop trying to become. Start uncovering. Your most genuine, joyful, and powerful life is waiting just beneath the surface. Are you ready to start digging? ✨

From Compulsive Action to Inspired Creativity https://innersparklife.com/shift-from-compulsive-doing-to-inspired-action/ Thu, 17 Jul 2025 08:00:00 +0000 http://innersparklife.com/shift-from-compulsive-doing-to-inspired-action/ Why We Start Acting from Obligation Instead of Inspiration

At a very young age, something strange happens to all of us. We start to believe that life is about doing things we *have* to do. Not what we want, not what we feel… but what’s expected.

It’s like there’s this invisible voice saying: *“You must do this to be good. You must do that to be accepted.”* And we buy into it, because we’re just kids. We want love, safety, and belonging. So we trade our natural spontaneity for approval.

Instead of playing, exploring, and acting from joy, we start performing. We do what we’re supposed to do. We become little robots, checking boxes we didn’t choose.

And from there, life becomes a long to-do list. One obligation after another. We do what we’re told, what society values, what our parents or teachers said was “right.”

This is how most of us fall into a life of compulsive action. We get used to acting out of fear—fear of being judged, rejected, or left behind. And without even noticing, we begin living on autopilot.

What Compulsive Action Feels Like (And Why It’s So Draining)

If you’ve ever felt like your days are full but your heart is empty, you know this feeling.

You’re doing things, crossing tasks off your list, but something’s off. It’s like you’re moving, but not really living. There’s no juice. No spark. No you in the doing.

That’s what compulsive action feels like. It’s mechanical. Meaningless. It leaves you tired, disconnected, and uninspired.

Even when we set spiritual goals or try to “improve” ourselves, we often fall into the same trap. We meditate or journal or exercise—not because we feel moved to—but because we think we should. It becomes just another performance.

This pattern goes deep. It’s a habit carved over years. And the more we try to force our way out of it, the tighter it holds us.

So how do we break the cycle? How do we move from doing out of obligation to acting with inspiration and purpose?

It all starts with balance. And I discovered that balance in the most unexpected place: inside the rhythm of a spiritual retreat.

The 3 Keys to Inspired Action: What I Learned on Retreat

I didn’t learn this in a book or podcast. I learned it through real experience—by spending time in retreats with my teacher, immersed in a totally different rhythm of life. And in every one of those retreats, I noticed something powerful:

They were always designed with a perfect mix of three elements:

  • 33% Effort
  • 33% Rest
  • 33% Celebration

This rhythm isn’t random—it’s medicine. And when I started applying it in my own life (and in the retreats I now guide), everything changed.

Let me break it down for you:

1. Effort: Channeling Energy with Purpose

One-third of the retreat was dedicated to focused effort. Not the exhausting, stressful kind of effort we’re used to. This was conscious, intentional, and energizing.

We hiked through nature. We practiced breathing techniques. We woke up early and moved our bodies. We fasted, took cold dips in rivers, did yoga, and challenged our edges—always with presence.

This kind of effort brings clarity. It burns through mental fog and reconnects us with our power. It’s not about forcing—it’s about engaging.

When you move your body with intention, your energy opens. Ideas start flowing. Your inner fire wakes up. Effort, when used consciously, becomes a bridge to inspiration.

2. Rest: The Space Where Inspiration Is Born

Another third of the retreat was pure rest. And I mean *real* rest—not scrolling on your phone or zoning out in front of a screen.

I’m talking about lying in the grass under a tree, taking long naps, doing absolutely nothing without guilt. Time just to be, to breathe, to listen inwardly.

At first, many people resist this part. We’re so programmed to “be productive” all the time that resting feels like wasting time. But it’s actually the opposite.

Rest is where the magic happens.

When the mind softens, the heart opens. When we stop “trying,” ideas start landing. Creativity bubbles up, unforced. This is the space where inspiration comes knocking—when we least expect it.

Without rest, our system burns out. We can’t hear the voice of intuition. So if you feel disconnected or uninspired, ask yourself: *Have I truly rested lately?*

3. Celebration: The Fuel of the Soul

The last third of our time was all about joy. Connection. Celebration. Sharing meals. Laughing together. Telling stories. Swimming in the ocean. Drinking coffee under the sun. Watching a movie and crying with friends.

This part might seem “unnecessary” to some. But it’s actually essential.

We are not machines. We are emotional, relational beings. And we need to feel love, playfulness, and connection to stay inspired.

Celebration reminds us what we’re doing all this inner work for. It fills our hearts. It nourishes our spirit. And from that fullness… creativity flows like a river.

If you skip this part, your life becomes a dry routine—even if you’re doing “all the right things.”

Bringing It All Together: How to Reclaim Inspired Action in Daily Life

After a few days living in this rhythm—effort, rest, and celebration—I always feel it: the spark. My mind lights up with ideas. My body feels alive. My heart is open. I can’t wait to create, to build, to express.

And it’s not just me. Everyone on the retreat feels it too. There’s laughter, energy, vision. We all remember who we really are: creative, inspired, purposeful beings.

This is why I started weaving this balance into my everyday life—and why I now teach it in my own retreats and workshops. Because this is the secret sauce. Not hustle. Not pressure. Not perfection.

Just the right rhythm of doing, resting, and enjoying.

So ask yourself:

  • Am I always pushing, but never stopping to rest?
  • Do I forget to celebrate and connect with people I love?
  • Is my creativity dry because I’m trying too hard—or not letting myself play?

We’ve been trained to believe that slowing down is lazy, and celebrating is indulgent. But it’s a lie. Those things are fuel. They’re what keep your inspiration alive.

So if you’re ready to step out of compulsive doing and into inspired living… start here. Bring these three elements into your week. Even a small shift makes a huge difference.

And if you want to experience it in full depth, come join one of our upcoming retreats. After a few days, you’ll feel the shift for yourself—and you’ll know exactly how to access that state anytime, anywhere.

For a life full of inspired action and true purpose. 💫

Namasté 🙏

Why Choose a Shaman Retreat for Your Next Spiritual Break? https://innersparklife.com/why-choose-a-shaman-retreat-for-your-next-spiritual-break/ Thu, 03 Oct 2024 08:00:00 +0000 http://innersparklife.com/?p=17702 What Is a Shaman Retreat? A Journey Beyond the Ordinary

A shaman retreat is more than just a getaway; it’s a profound journey into the depths of the spiritual world. These retreats are designed to help individuals reconnect with nature, their inner selves, and the subtle energies that surround us. Unlike traditional retreats, which might focus solely on relaxation or mindfulness, shamanic retreats involve ancient spiritual practices aimed at healing the soul and expanding consciousness.

At the core of these retreats is the guidance of a shaman — a spiritual healer who acts as a bridge between the physical world and the spirit world. Through ancient rituals, like drumming, chanting, and ceremonial gatherings, participants are invited to explore altered states of consciousness and communicate with spiritual guides. In these spaces, deep healing and transformation can occur as individuals gain insights into their lives, heal past wounds, and connect with a higher purpose.

Shamanic retreats often take place in remote, natural settings where the power of the earth and the cosmos can be felt more profoundly. Whether in lush forests, mountains, or sacred sites, these environments play a critical role in facilitating the spiritual journey. The connection to nature is a key element, as shamanic traditions are deeply rooted in the belief that nature holds the wisdom needed to heal and guide us.

Image 2

The Power of Ancient Traditions in Modern Times

The practices you’ll experience during a shaman retreat are based on ancient wisdom that dates back thousands of years. Indigenous cultures around the world — from Siberia to South America — have passed down these traditions through generations. Shamanism is one of the oldest spiritual practices known to humanity, and its focus on healing, transformation, and connection to the spirit world is as relevant today as ever.

In our fast-paced, technology-driven world, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. Many of us are disconnected from nature, from our true selves, and from the spiritual realms that offer guidance and healing. This is where the power of a shaman retreat comes in. It invites you to step out of the chaos and into a world where time slows down, and where you can reconnect with the wisdom of the earth and the spirits.

During the retreat, you might participate in sacred rituals such as Ayahuasca ceremonies in the Amazon, or the use of traditional sweat lodges to cleanse and purify the body and mind. These ceremonies are not simply symbolic; they are tools for deep spiritual work, helping you to release old emotional wounds, gain clarity, and step into your authentic power. The teachings of the shamanic tradition are designed to bring balance, healing, and guidance that can transform your life long after the retreat has ended.

How a Shaman Retreat Can Help You Heal and Transform

A shaman retreat offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into your personal healing journey. In contrast to conventional therapies, which often focus on the mind, shamanic practices aim to heal the body, mind, and soul holistically. This is done by addressing both the spiritual and energetic imbalances that may be the root cause of emotional or physical issues.

One of the key practices you’ll encounter is the shamanic journey, where, under the guidance of a skilled shaman, you’ll be invited to enter a meditative or trance-like state. Here, you’ll connect with your spirit guides, ancestors, or animal totems who bring you messages and wisdom from the spiritual realm. This profound inner work allows you to uncover the hidden layers of your consciousness and heal old traumas that may be blocking your personal growth.

Additionally, shaman retreats often include rituals aimed at energy cleansing. These can involve smudging with sacred herbs like sage or palo santo, and participating in cleansing ceremonies such as the sweat lodge. These ancient practices help to release stagnant energy, leaving you feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to your spiritual path.

Through these intense and transformative experiences, you can achieve not only a sense of emotional relief but also a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you. Many participants report feeling more grounded, empowered, and aligned with their life purpose after a shamanic retreat.

Why Choose a Shaman Retreat Over Other Spiritual Retreats?

There are countless types of spiritual retreats available today, from yoga retreats to silent meditation getaways. So why choose a shaman retreat? The answer lies in the depth and intensity of the experience. Unlike other forms of retreats, which often focus on mindfulness or physical relaxation, a shamanic retreat is designed to initiate deep, often life-changing transformation.

The rituals you participate in during a shaman retreat are not only ancient but also deeply immersive. From powerful plant medicine ceremonies to sacred fire rituals, these practices take you beyond the surface level of relaxation or introspection and into the depths of your soul. In this space, you can confront and heal old wounds, gain profound spiritual insights, and reconnect with your true essence.

Furthermore, the guidance of an experienced shaman is what sets these retreats apart. The shaman acts as a mediator between the material and spiritual worlds, helping you navigate the spiritual realms and guiding you through the healing process. This level of personal attention and spiritual direction is rare in many other types of retreats, making a shaman retreat an exceptional choice for those seeking profound healing and personal growth.

If you’re seeking more than just peace of mind, and if you’re ready to engage in powerful, transformative work, a shaman retreat can be the key to unlocking a deeper connection with yourself and the universe.

Destinations That Elevate the Shamanic Experience

One of the most exciting aspects of a shaman retreat is the opportunity to travel to sacred and powerful locations around the world. These places, often located in the heart of nature, provide the perfect environment for spiritual exploration and connection. Each destination offers its own unique energy, contributing to the overall transformative experience of the retreat.

For instance, retreats in the Peruvian Amazon immerse participants in the wisdom of indigenous shamans, where you can engage in traditional Ayahuasca ceremonies. The lush, vibrant jungle offers an energetic environment unlike any other, amplifying the effects of the plant medicine and helping participants connect deeply with nature and the spiritual realms.

In contrast, retreats in the mountains of Greece, particularly near Mount Olympus, provide a more celestial connection. These landscapes, steeped in ancient myths and legends, offer a mystical backdrop for your spiritual journey. The majestic peaks of Olympus — often referred to as the home of the gods — inspire introspection, transformation, and a deeper understanding of the universe.

Other locations, like the remote hills of Romania’s Carpathian Mountains, or the volcanic landscapes of the Canary Islands, also provide powerful settings. These places are often far removed from the distractions of modern life, offering you the time and space to go inward and experience the full depth of the shamanic rituals.

Ultimately, each destination enhances the retreat experience, helping you reconnect with the earth, awaken your spiritual senses, and find clarity in your personal journey.

The Lasting Impact of a Shamanic Retreat

Participating in a shamanic retreat is not just a temporary escape from the stresses of daily life; it’s a powerful catalyst for long-lasting change. The deep healing and personal growth that you experience during the retreat extend far beyond the days spent in nature. Many participants report that the insights and transformations they gained during the retreat continue to shape their lives months, even years, after returning home.

One of the reasons for this lasting impact is the profound spiritual connection that is formed during the retreat. Whether through ceremonies involving plant medicines like Ayahuasca, or through intense practices such as drumming, meditation, or visualization, the retreat opens doors to other dimensions of reality. These experiences provide guidance and clarity that can help you navigate challenges in your life with more wisdom and grace.

Furthermore, the sense of community and shared experience among retreat participants can be incredibly supportive. Many find that they develop deep, meaningful relationships with others who are on a similar spiritual path, and these connections often last long after the retreat ends. This sense of belonging, combined with the spiritual tools and knowledge you acquire, can help you maintain a greater sense of inner peace and alignment as you move forward in life.

If you’re ready for a transformative experience that will shift your perspective, heal old wounds, and provide clarity about your life’s direction, a shaman retreat could be the next step on your spiritual journey. By connecting deeply with nature, yourself, and the spiritual realms, you’ll gain the tools and insights needed to create lasting change in all areas of your life.
